HOW TO BOOK

Picture Books

NEW HERE?

To book an initial review of your picture books or to apply for mentoring with one of our picture book mentors, please send up to two texts (max 1000 words each) to Emma at info@manuscriptfeedback.com.

Each text should be submitted as a single Microsoft Word document attached to your covering email:

​

• in a 12 pt standard font (e.g. Times New Roman)

• page numbered

• there is no need to include illustrations, but illustration notes may be added if you wish

Your covering email should tell us:

​

• the word count of each text

• a  little bit about yourself (e.g. how long you've been writing, courses attended, etc)

• your preferred one2one location.
  
  

Emma will then be in touch to discuss next steps with you.

This includes those who are just setting out on their writing journey, as well as experienced authors. We ask you to send us an extract so we can decide who best to place you with and how we can help you most, not to make judgments on your work.​
