We believe the best way to fast-track your work, enhance your writing skills and knowledge of the craft, prepare your writing for submission and have lots of fun doing it, is to work with one of our mentors over a period of time.
You get deadlines that help you to focus and your mentor gets to know you and your work at a deeper level. Joining up as a mentee ensures you always get the mentor you want and that they have allocated time in their schedule to read your work and meet with you regularly.
Mentees can attend Emma's live monthly online class on a Monday night from 8-9pm during term time. At the end of each class, Emma will set exercises for the next month to help mentees further explore what it means to write for publication. If you can't make the class you can catch up in your own time later.
Our mentors love to work with authors as they generate ideas and write their first draft, as well as helping authors develop a complete manuscript. We can work with you so long as you have 5,000 words and a rough idea of where you would like your story to go.
Working with a mentor can be an amazing experience. It's both fun and challenging and we guarantee you'll learn loads! Take a look at the reviews on our homepage to read what former mentees have said about working with us.
