So you've been beavering away at your manuscript and you'd like to know how you're doing. Or maybe you need help with a couple of troublesome chapters. Or how about rolling up your sleeves with your mentor and diving into your plot? Or working through your story climax, discussing themes, tightening character arcs? How about workshopping a section of your manuscript for emotional connection or dramatic tension?

Your mentor will read your extract or plot summary/chapter outline, prepare notes and then discuss your work with you for an hour, either face-to-face at a location and time agreed with the mentor, or via Skype.

This is a great way to give yourself a boost and to work with an expert who will listen and encourage as well as giving you tutoring and insight from their wealth of experience.

Manuscripts: send us 10,000 words or a chapter outline and/or beat sheet (ask for template/advice on beat sheet).

​

Picture Books: send us two texts, up to 1000 words each.
